I am hearing a lot this question, does it really work article marketing for link popularity and search engine ranking? I can tell you for sure that there is no other faster way of being indexed in Google and other search engines than article marketing. Writing articles and submitting them to article directories will increase your link popularity and your search engine ranking more than any other free or paid advertising strategy available online today.

All you have to do is to share valuable information with your readers and to put a link to your website in the resource box of your articles. This way you will get visitors to your site from the readers, plus a back link to your site from the article directories. More than this, many webmasters looking for fresh content might reprint your articles on their websites, which means more exposure and more back links.
