Content Is King – Writing Yourself

In the Internet marketing world they use to say “content is king.” And it’s true. Without good fresh content your visitors will not stay on your website and they will not come back, and without traffic you have no business online. So the question is, how do you consistently create new content? Here are your four basic options: writing yourself, recording yourself when speaking if you can not writing, hiring a ghostwriter ans purchasing the author rights on already written content.

Today we will talk about the first option. Writing you own original content is important because you don’t want to become dependant on other people’s thoughts. You want to train yourself to consistently think original thoughts and then capture them. People want fresh thinking. They don’t want the same old, same old.

Setting aside regular periods to work on original content is a great habit to form because over a period of time you’ll have the necessary ingredients to continually crank out new products for your market. Being disciplined to plan out time and record your thoughts is a fantastic habit to master and can instantly serve you today and well into the future.

It is not that hard to write something, especially if you have knowledge about the subject. Even if you don’t, you can learn everything right from the Internet. You can always find in Google or in Wikipedia all the information you need regardless the topic.

When you are writing, do it as you talk to an old friend. Never spoke to plural, do it as your friend is in front of you. Never use an academic style, just simple words as you do in your everyday conversations with your friends. Try to be concise and to focus on the information.

Never tell something about yourself, remember that your reader expect to find something useful for himself in your content, not your personal problems. Always highlight the benefits that your reader could have from your product or service.
