Three Easy Rules On Health And Fitness
Everyone’s goal is to be healthy and fit, to look good, and, in these days, obesity seems to be the major health problem all over the world. There is an enormous increase in the number of people considered overweight by the medical community. In fact many call it an obesity epidemic. Unfortunately, a lot of perople try to combat this with all sorts of “quick fix” pills, powders, and lotions that do nothing to help them.
The same thing could be said of the diet industry as well. There are too many different diets going around now, you can try one a month and in a years time still have more to choose from. What is truely needed are some sensible proven weight loss rules that people can implement no matter what their present physical condition is. The problem is that you need determination, hard work with exercises and understanding that you can not lose 50 pounds in five days. Here you have few of those rules:
1. Drink more water. All too often people are borderline dehydrated and so their bodies are working on the water starvation reflex and not flushing the toxins and junk out. Drink water instead of any other drink. Water is the only liquid that doesn’t contains calories, so you can’t gain weight no matter how much water you drink.
2. Eat more often. While it is true that to lose weight you need to eat less calories than you eliminate, you need to eat more often to get the metabolic furnace stoked up and burning right. Get out of starvation mode. Put the accent on fresh fruits and vegetbles, white meat and fish. Healthy food, with higher volume and less calories is the weith loss path, not the starvation. Eat more often in smaller portions and your body will no longer preserve the fat.
3. Move more. Depending on your physical condition you need to be moving more. Use the stairs rather than the elevator, park farther out from the office or the store, go for a walk around the block, go dancing, play with your kids, swim, ride a bike, etc. Running is not the only way to burn more calories.
Decide why you want to lose weight. Make your reason big enough to motivate you. Focus on it, do it proper, do it on time and you will see the results pretty soon, and remember, you don’t have to spend money or to risk your health for that.
