Weight Loss Tricks Or Mind Set Up?

In my last post, “Experts Reveals Unique Strategies For Losing Weight Naturally”, I was counting few tips given by well known experts in the weight loss field, and I have received a comment which I let you read integrally here:

All great tips here, but really what you are suggesting is that we find ways to “trick” ourselves into getting/staying thin. What if we didn’t have to use tricks? What if we could find a way that just had us doing what we’re supposed to be doing without us having to talk ourselves into doing certain things and tricking ourselves out of doing other things? What if we just became a slim person and then every day did the same actions slim people do? (I am referring here to slim people who don’t have mixed up relationships with food.)

This is possible, I’m proof. But the diet industry won’t help you with this, it’s not in their best interest. But here’s a great book suggestion that will help you….get the popular new book called “Why Are You Weighting? It’s Not The Food That’s Making You Fat!” (www.WhyAreYouWeighting.com) and learn how to first become a slim person in your mind, so that it can happen naturally in your body. Have you heard of BE, DO, HAVE? First BE slim (in your mind, thoughts) which will direct you to DO what it takes to be slim, and before you know it, you HAVE a slim body. Simple yes, easy no. Get the book and follow the directions and do the exercises….it worked to help me lose 135 lbs!”

Frankly Stacey, I would call those tips “mind set up” rather than “tricks”. However, even if they are tricks, as long as the result is positive, as long as someone can lose weight and can control his weight, stay slim, as you say, I see nothing wrong in them, on the contrary.

Actually, the hardest part of a weight loss plan is the mind set up, the determination, and every little thing which can help to that is a step to success. Someone said that the difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will. If one little trick helps me to be more decided, than I will always use it.

Someone reading your commentary might think that it is a blatant advertising for this book, “Why Are You Weighting? It’s Not The Food That’s Making You Fat!”. However, I am always according the presumtion of non-guiltness to everyone, until the contrary proof. On the other hand, because of the same principle, I do not agree with you when you afirm that the diet industry has not interest to help people with weight problems. It is hard to believe that there is a conspiration at mondial level which wants to poison us, or whatever. I am convinced that their purpose is to help us, and if a diet system doesn’t work for someone concrete, doesn’t mean that will not work for everyone. It’s true that I am promoting a no diet weight loss system, based on healthy eating and exercise, as being the best way of natural weight loss, but I am not excluding the other diets.

Back to your book, if it’s not the food that’s making us fat, then what? The water? How long do you think that you can stay slim, if while reading your book you will eat three king burgers at McDonalds?

“First BE slim (in your mind, thoughts)”, you say. Isn’t this a way of TRICKING yourself that you are slim?

Why Are We Weighting? The life made me an weight loss expert against my will. Until the age of 25 years I have never had weight problems, and suddenly, in six months I went from 140 pounds to 210 pounds. I went to a lot of doctors and I tried a lot of treatments, not to count the money I spent in this time, and finally I found a proffesor doctor universitary who made me lose 60 pounds in six months with no diet and no treatment, only with the right food and exercise, although my problem was with the ad renal glands.

Why Are We Weighting? The wrong food and the lack of exercise are the main causes, but there could also be problems with the hormons, menopause and with the glands. I am always recommending a severe medical control for people with weight problems, but without any fear I afirm that a healthy lifestyle can help everyone to control his weight, that’s why I am recomending a healthy eating system and exercise as the safest way of losing weight and controling it, no matter if they have to use tricks for that.

I went to your site and I saw that you are promoting a paid weight loss system. I am glad that, as you said, that helped you to lose 135 lbs, but you didn’t mentioned how much did that costed you, in case that you are not the owner of the site.

I am sorry, but I will never pay to learn something that I already know, and if some costless tricks will help me to get the same results… No ofense. Good luck anyway.
