These meta tags doesn't appear in the normal view of a web site page, but when the search engines "spiders" come to see your web site, it is the first thing which they are seeing, and by having them in their place, it increase very much your rank page. It took me some time untill I discovered that, because nobody speaks too much about these meta tags.

These meta tags should look like that:

meta content="the page's description, no more than 25 words or 255 characters" name="description"

meta content="your page's keywords" name="keywords"

meta content="General" name="rating"

meta content="All" name="robots"

meta content="English" name="language"

meta name="revisit-after" content="14 days"

"General" means that you have no adult content in your site, "All" is for all type of robots, "spiders", and "14 days" means that you are saying to the robots that you will refresh the content of your site every 14 days. You may change to 7, to 30, the way you want. You must put in front of every word meta the angular paranthesis < and when you close the phrase, after quotes you must add a forward dash and the reverse angular pharantesis, like this />. I can not put them directly because it won't appear here, you can not see them, if they are in meta tags form. There is a way to do it, but I don't know how, (I still have a lot of things to learn).

Place these meta tags on the very top of your source code. It doesn't really matter where you place them, considering that they are not executable HTML commands, but being on top would make it easier for you to know where to find them when you need them, and you can also be sure that the search engine spiders will read them before anything else. It is important to know that the search engine spiders will read them before anything else.
